WEASLE SKINK
Weasel Shadeskink, Southern Weasel Skink
Saproscincus mustelinus
The total length of a Weasel Skink, including the tail, can reach up to about 7 centimeters (2.8 inches). Their tail can be up to twice as long as their body, measuring around 45 millimeters (1.8 inches) from snout to vent.

This Weasel Skink was one of several that I saw after sunset in late February. The were fossicking around a large pile of leaves and branches.
This one would stick its long tongue out and flicker it like a snake from time to time.
