Distribution:- Western Sumatra
Red Blood Python or Malaysian Blood Python
Python brongersmai
(was Python curtus brongersmai)
Distribution:- Malay Peninsular (West Malaysia), Thailand, Sumatra , Bangka Island Lingga islands, Riau, and Pinang and other islands in the Straits of Malacca.
Comments:- Python brongersmai Normally grows up to approximately 2 metres (6ft) but is a very bulky snake - some sources report lengths up to 3 metres (10ft)

Distribution:- Borneo (Malaysia)
Pygmy Short-Tailed Python or Myanmar Python
Python kyaiktiyo
(split from Python curtus brongersmai)
Distribution:- BURMA (Myanma)
Comments:- New species described in 2011 split from Python brongersmai
